Sam Van Eman

sam hammock Hi. My name is Sam. I’m a staff specialist for the CCO and a content editor here at HighCallingBlogs.com.

If we haven’t met, you can learn about one of my specific interests at New Breed of Advertisers, or by reading On Earth as It is in Advertising? Moving from Commercial Hype to Gospel Hope (Brazos Press, 2005; Reprint by Wipf & Stock, 2010). Folks either love this book or doze off by the middle of Chapter 2, so go into it with mediocre expectations and you’ll be alright.

I’m very glad you stopped by. Perhaps we can even meet in person at a place like Jubilee, the CCO’s annual gig where people “gather together to re-imagine how their Christian faith should inform the way they study, play, work and live out every area of life.”

In the meantime, enjoy some of my HCB content in the links below.

Sam! The book name is incorrect in the above introduction! Hype and Hope are switched – and that’s just not right!
