Good Word Editing - Marcus Goodyear is a writer and editor for the H.E.B. foundation.

There is a new Veggie Tales movie coming out soon. The story of Big Idea and its struggle to find a place in the world of movies and videos is certainly a good example of how complicated it can be to take your faith to your workplace. Marcus Goodyear gives us a little preview of the movie. As it turns out, “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything” has a lot to say about letting the Bible illuminate your work and your life.

At the Religion Newswriter’s Association Conference last night, Big Idea and Lovell-Fairchild previewed The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything. There’s an embargo on reviews, so I’m not going to review the movie or share spoilers…Click here to read the rest.

The lack of supplemental materials to train and encourage new converts in the basic doctrines of Christianity is a substantial problem. If left unaddressed, this deficit in biblically rich, gospel centered materials will have a detrimental effect on the church worldwide… read the rest.

Gibson Direct blogs about business and life and how faith intersects both of them.

As I sit here in a hotel room, I think of how people sometimes look at me with envy. As a consultant, I travel a lot. Many people think, “What fun and adventure!” It may be for some folks, but not for me. Being away from family and home is difficult. Hotels can be noisy places where sleep may be difficult. Hotels are nice, but they are not home….read the rest.
