This story is so great that I don’t feel adequate for the task of introducing it. It is a story of unbelievable grace and mercy and love. You can’t miss this one. Stop whatever you are doing and read it.
They played the oddest game in high school football history last month down in Grapevine, Texas.
It was Grapevine Faith vs. Gainesville State School and everything about it was upside down. For instance, when Gainesville came out to take the field, the Faith fans made a 40-yard spirit line for them to run through.

I live a town over from Grapevine but I could not attend the game. A couple of the guys from my men’s group attended. The parents of the kids really got behind the coach and supported the visiting team.
It was a great lesson for the Gainesville kids, someone loves them, no matter what has gone on in their lives.
It was a great lesson for the Faith kids, how to make Christian love and service more important than competing and winning.
It was a great witness of the love of Christ.
