Welcome
Welcome to our first ever HighCallingBlogs.com newsletter! You’re reading this because you are an early adopter. Thank you so much for sticking with us through these early months of beta testing.
We started the HighCallingBlogs.com Community because we believe God cares about the work that all of us do. Too many Christians compartmentalize their faith so that our culture sees Christianity as quaint and irrelevant traditions. We know that our faith is much more than that!
Now, you’re part of a community of believers who are willing to share their work via their blogs. Together, we can help others see how Christ followers live out their faith in the workplace. Whether you are a full time mom, a pastor, a teacher, or a marketing consultant. Whether you build electronics, raise money for nonprofits, or serve in the military.
Whatever you do, your work is an expression of your faith.
This doesn’t mean we all blog about overtly spiritual things. Sometimes it comes up. Sometimes it doesn’t. We’re not looking for anyone’s bumper sticker religion. We just want to see authentic believers being real in their workplace and growing in community with one another.
And we’re headed into an exciting time! Soon, you’ll be seeing many improvements to the community—including a complete overhaul of the main site, some new widgets, and easier ways to participate in the community like next month’s High Calling Blogs Tour. You won’t want to miss any of it!

If You Host Your Blog Outside HCB…
Please be sure you have one of the HighCallingBlogs.com Badges in the sidebar of your website. Some of you have noticed problems with the orange badges disappearing. We’ve just changed the code to fix the problem. Old badges should still work, but you may need to reinstall the new code on your blog.
Also, if you created a new blog on HighCallingBlogs.com by mistake when you registered, email Chris and he’ll take care of that for you. Clarifying the registration process is high on our priority list.
If You Host Your Blog at HighCallingBlogs.com/yourblog…
We are especially grateful for your participation in the network. And we want to apologize if you are one of our community members who has been neglected. Our system has some flaws, but we are working hard to correct them. Do not hesitate to email us if you have any questions or concerns.
