1. Yes, and, that depends. If I did too much to satisfy my own need for perfection, I felt good when I was done, irregardless of the reaction of others. If, however, I did it because I felt I had to, to satisfy someone else’s standards, I felt rotten, even if the end result was now better than it would have been if I had just done it “good enough for me.”
