A Different Street

NPR called this “the most important speech of this campaign” this morning. I suspect it’s rather more than that. If you didn’t hear Barack Obama respond to the controversy surrounding his pastor Jeremiah Wright, read it and be amazed at the thought of a President who can comprehend and express himself on such a nuanced level, on such a charged and difficult topic.
