Dunno what it is, but as Spring advances, my mood retreats: I’ve hardly had the energy to do more than the barest minimum for weeks now. Sigh. And just when I was about to seal up all the leaks inside the comfortable, familiarly suffocating scratchy blankets of severe depression, rlp lobs this one over the transom, in re the latest Foy story:
Your journey might begin with forgiving the Church, but healing might not come from the Church. Or maybe the Church should be defined in much larger ways. As a fellow human traveler, I believe that God’s grace - if you want to use those words - is available for everyone.
And it is often found in the most unexpected places.
Perhaps we’ll keep our eyes open, you and I, and see if we can spot the moment when grace appears.
Well shi–nola. Does that mean I have to keep one of those cracks open a bit and peek out from time to time?
