Had a chance to play with a copier sized, paper, wood, some plastics laser cutter today. Just the (tens of thousands $) toy I always wanted. Oh to have had access in my preteen scratch model building days….

By hearsay, these are the hot thing for art and design schools, but also so many craft uses.
And on top of that, due to safety recommendations to monitor your job visually, one can become hypnotized watching the movements of the action, definitely potential for a religious order… or am I thinking cult.
