Awhile ago I was called out for using the “no true Scotsman” fallacy, as described here.
I suggest that the statement “No real Christian could vote for Obama” (or indeed “for McCain”) is a perfect example of this fallacy.

Yes but what can we do about the fact that no sane person (I think an example of the fallacy) would want to be US president, responsible for nuclear weapons, blamed for the corruption collapse of the financial system, hurricanes in the south, earthquakes in the west….

Although earlier I called it a choice of the lesser evil and that I didn’t really like either - at least both seem to be good men of integrity, even if that fact got lost during the campaigning.
No good logician could fail to note that.
